Cloud Computing
Cloud computing is a method of storing data. The data, instead of being stored on a local server or personal computer, is saved on the internet.
The advantages of doing is that, data wont be lost if there is damage to any of the servers, or to a personal computer. The data is also more easily accessible due to the fact that the internet can be made available in most locations and therefore the needed data can be accessed.
The disadvantage of cloud computing is that, a user would have to rely on the internet service to reach their data. If a user’s internet is slow or unreliable, then access to the data would be the same. Another disadvantage of using cloud computing is that, although it is available from anywhere, there may be an employee that isn’t happy with the company that could really cause harm to the data. Also, if the username or password isn’t strong, this could be hacked.
